30 Days of Gratitude: Day 20

Me 1

1. Although I’m a born and bred Southern girl, I don’t like football. I have no idea when the super bowl airs unless my husband tells me. Even then, I only tune in for the half time show. I’d rather be shopping while everyone is watching football.
2. I’ve been in love with writing since I was seven years old, and I believe writing has loved me back.
3. I have an extreme phobia of frogs and lizards. They cause me to hyperventilate, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever conquer my phobia.
4. I love cheese and ranch dressing. I eat Sargento string cheese EVERY DAY! At any given time, you’ll find at minimum of five packs of cheese and four bottles of ranch in my refrigerator.
5. I cried like a baby in my car when I finished writing my book.
6. I’m addicted to Nivea Moisture lip care. I use it about ten or more times a day—seriously. I keep a tube in my handbag, on my desk at work, at home, and in my car.
7. I love Christmas. I’m the annoying person that when November 1st comes, I’m fully in Christmas mode. I want to decorate, sip on hot cocoa by the fire and watch Hallmark movies, and sing Christmas carols.
8. Sometimes I feel like I’m cheating on summer (because I love it), but I also love fall and fall fashion.
9. A loud television, the smacking sound of food and gun, and passive-aggressive behavior from anyone are annoying as AF, and it sends me to another level. I’m working on that.
10. I go to Target at least two times a week, and I should be on payroll there.
11. If something or someone doesn’t grab my attention, I develop the attention span of a 3-year-old or I check out completely.
12. I HATE pumping gas, so my husband takes my car to a service station and fills it up. He spoils me, probably, too much.
13. I like popcorn, but it’s cumbersome to eat because I can’t eat the hulls. No, I don’t wear braces, and I need to try “hulless popcorn.”
14. I’m picky, a semi-perfectionist, and when things are out of my control, I don’t like it.
15. I want my book to be a New York Times Best Seller—I have audacious dreams. Always will.

I’m thankful that I can share my confessions with a supportive audience.
