On December 6th at 10:57 PM, I was lying in bed, scrolling through social media, and I saw something spectacular. It was so spectacular that it made me perk up, even in the tenth hour—on a Friday night.

At this point in my life, I live for Friday nights in bed watching Netflix, 90 Day Fiance, the Hallmark channel (especially this time of year) HGTV, or re-runs of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Love & Hip Hop. If you’re at this point in your life, too—you understand me—it’s the best.

(But I digress, moving on!)

By now, if you’ve been following me and my blog, you know that I’m a planner, and I love planners. And, I’m a huge fan of Rachel Hollis. Yes, I know, I mention her A LOT. But this business-savvy woman is a powerhouse, y’all! She’s all about success and goal setting, and I am, too. Which is why I try to learn from women who are already blazing the trail towards success.

I use her Start Today journals, and they’re awesome. They’re a great way to practice gratitude and goal setting.

 (Drum roll, please!)

And starting in January 2020, she will have PLANNERS available at Target! I love her idea behind creating planners. Her intention for the planner is to take you one step closer on your journey to achieving your goals in life.

This time of year, I can’t help being excited about what the future holds in 2020. And what better way to prepare for your goals than using resources that will help you achieve them strategically and faster. I recently finished a 7-day planner challenge with See Jane Write, and I’m pumped and equipped to take on the new year.

With the year quickly coming to an end, have you thought about your goals for 2020? If not, it’s time, to be honest with yourself about what you’re trying to accomplish. Make plans and challenge yourself to do something different to achieve your goals. Don’t let another year go by without being intentional in 2020. It’s time to face your fears and blaze the trail, too.

A few days ago, I was asked—what’s your word for 2020? I’ve been doing this practice for a few years now, and each year, it gets better and better. This year, I chose the word success. I plan to become successful in different areas of my life. Big and small. I plan on believing in myself more and work harder to achieve the things that I sometimes deem impossible. The tools that I’ll use are my Start Today journal, my Happiness Planner, Kate Spade Planner, and Content Planner

I’m choosing to push myself far beyond my comfort zone and dream bigger than big. Because guess what? Dreams do come true.

What’s your word for 2020, and how do you plan on accomplishing your goals?
